Flanges

Okay guys, bought some new grips and put them on my cheap ass ebay bars and kept the flanges on.
PROS:
.The grips I were riding got slippery when I sweat, so they helped with slippage a bit
.When I landed sketchy and slammed my hand on the bar, they actually softened the impact a bit.
.They kept my bar alot prettier and scratchless
CONS
everything. they just got in the way and pissed me off
.I have nooo idea why, but they felt like they ruined my style, i felt more sketchy
. when I sketched up and landed a bit off the grip it felt awkward as poop and i ended up having to get pissed and throw :L

I had flanges when i used duo bohans cause the flanges i had on 'em were small and looked cool but now i got longnecks and i cutted flanges instantly. Longnecks' flanges look horrible.

I ride with my right hand half on my grips, with 2 or so fingers off onto the bar. Thats how i barspin, too. Flanges are just awkward.

you both need narrower bars, i used to do that when i was 11 and had 18s then i went to 16s and it felt wayyy better

no, I do it on any width of bars. I had 15s before and it was the same...
