Easiest way to do this is with a strip of aluminum. I'm not sure how long but it needs to be about an inch wide. Just bend it the way you want it.

Bad idea to use aluminum.
Use steel. Go to a local harware store and take your scooter in there and find the right size for your preference. The bend it and cut off excess metal, shape edges and ride.

I would recommend using 2-3 mm thick steel, but if you do use aluminum make sure you use 3-4 mm thick atleast.

I used an aluminum flex fender, and I brake loads, and it's barely getting an indent. I wore out a razor brake quicker.

And to bend it, bolt it onto your deck (with the wheel out) and bend it up, so you wheel will still go in. Then put your wheel on and bend it around your wheel, and cut off where you want it. Worked for me
