Flooding/Bad weather?

Yea, well recently around eastern iowa and the midwest in general theres been a lot of flooding and bad weather. one town was completely destroyed by a tornado, i mean the town was completely flattened, you can't tell where there were houses, you can only see big piles of debris.

and yea, we've had to sweep water into the drain in our basement several times now. on monday i got some footage of the flooding around town, check it out- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHP5gGOG9kU its worse in other towns, they've had to evacuate neighborhoods and had boil orders, do not flush orders, etc. we almost had some of those cause the water went really close to the sewage plant.

but yeh, anyone else experiencing bad weather?

well idk if any of you noticed i was gone for awhile, power went out a few times and our monitor kinda got fried yesterday morning and internet wasn't working anyway, just got everything working tonight.

cedar rapids, idk if you guys have seen video/pics, its just jaw dropping seeing some of the flooding. it honestly looks like katrina, water above cars, up to roofs on houses, etc. they get around the town by boat. its going to be terrible cleaning up everwhere there. theres a few other cities that are going to be just as bad.

meanwhile, here in monticello, i've been bailing water out of the basement, we probably had 3 inches of water in the deepest places. all day yesterday pretty much, i was sweeping/sucking up water and dumping it down the drain. i had to do that alot today too.

ermm yea epic novel, read if you want.

Lotssss of fires started breaking out here around Nor Cal, and the weather is only getting hotter..so yea...gay.

lol jordan that vid looks like what happened to my old school it was built where a dam used to be and it was in a massive ditch and one day it poured and yeah cars were floating and shiz it was pretty cool but the good thing was that it dried out in like 3 days :)
