I got myself banned.
My school has them, along with GL2s and a XH A1. The GL1s are straight up shitty, its pretty much the same exact thing as your GS except its bigger and 10 years old, so you have to baby it like a VX1000. You can get better colors out of a GS from my experience. The audio isn't what you except it to be from a prosumer 3ccd, its pretty crappy. GL2s are decent cameras, but a VX2100 give you alot more options to work with (and for cheaper i think). But you said something about getting a DVX in another thread, DVX is the mother of all SD cameras... 60i, 30p, 24p, 24pa, cinema scene files, so much stuff you can do with them. Look for a used DVX100A on ebay.

yeah the vx2000 and vx2100 are good but idk get why you just don't keep your gs for awhile and save your money for a dvx, i've seen a gs have better colors than a vx2100. so yeah just my opinion

sheboy. shut up. the other day you asked what the difference 1 ccd and 3 ccd was. you shouldnt have a 3 chip camera if you dont know what the difference is.
