ok so i was at the park today and i snapped my fork (the tube part). and now theres like half of the fork tube stuck in my bars and i dont know how to get it out. so has this ever happened to anyone else? and does anyone know how to solve it?

oh and my bars are one pieces so i cant just get rid of them

lol i did that same exact thing on my one peices 2....i just banged the bottom against the ground till the fork piece got towards the bottom, and then i just used my finger 2 pull it out...but i guess u could use pliers if they still dont come out

take a hacksaw and cut the fork through the slits in your bars. Do one side at a time otherwise it's gonna be a pain in the ass. If you have one pieces and a big ass fork that goes past the slits, then you want to probably use the needle nose pliers method.

just widen the slit..the fork peice will slide right out...then hammer the wnd hor lightly hit them against the ground to make the slit the same size..

if you do not want to hit it.. then just widen your clamp...slide it on the bars..slide ur bars on ur fork..then tighten the clamp and it will form it back to the normal shape it started at.

yeah but the problem is, theres not enough room for me to jam the pliers in to make the slits wider.

i guess i could just cut the fork?

wedge something long and made of strong metal in there at an angle, use it as a lever. twist and apply pressure and slowly unscrew it.

i will explain better if you dont get it

this happend to me like 3 times.
whenever it happens to me i put needle nose plyers in the slits and pull it out. then when it comes a little out i twist it.
