imagine a fork with non-hollow fork tube heavy but strong as hell!!!, i never have bent the legs, i snap the tube.

you would need thicker legs, or the weight of the fork tubes would cause the legs to completely snap off if you land wrong. i think

if i file off the bottom of a jd bug / razor fork to fit a 125 (where the bottom black cap thing is) and it does work, will it effect the strength of the fork? And if so, where and how?

Once you start grinding through welds you'll be weakening it, but any of the other material can be removed without weakening it.
