Forks

Sorry if this didnt need a thread but I just started to take the the dust cover off my fork because its threaded. I have an Inward Zero Offset fork and the top is almost completely stripped :(. But now I am done with threaded and going threadless. Should I buy an Inward threadless or What other fork? And since I am getting bars too should I get inwards and run a starnut compression system or run brass knuckles and spend alot of money. Or should I buy the inward bars? Please comment because I cant scooter until I get a new fork. I will later make a poll on this. Also comment on what forks are good/bad pros cons etc.

i have inward forks and bars with their compression it was cheap only took two weeks to get ( i guess you knew that) but i think you should go with the inwards as sick as the knuckles are i think they are too expensive
idk if this is the info your were looking for but i hope i could help at all wats so ever

get any bars you want. i would say get buff bars, i just got mine and i love them. if you want one pieces, a lot of people will say inward or proto. also, c4s have excellent reviews. to use threadless forks, you need a threadless headset. the compression is up to you. the brass knuckles are worth the money, but the inverted is cheaper and wont break easily.

i am done with threads so i am goin compression should i get the extreme or the zero cuz i already had it and he whole no offset didnt make much sense,i tink i might buy the bars or should i keep my sz buffs?

I bet if you talked to Jp about it you could sent the fork's back and he would send you some new ones probaly even threadless.

go with the inwards... thats probly the easiest thing for you to do.... but if you go threadless then you will need a threadless headset

but right now i either have to cut or break the starnut somehow or cut the fork? i can get a threadless headset thats not the problem but should i put a starnut in my sz buffs or since im probably gettin the bars then just have them do it

I own SR.
If you want to do it cheap just buy some 1-1/8" 4130 tubing like .083" wall, take it to a welder, have them cut the threaded part off and TIG weld a new threadless forktube on. Then you save a bunch of money that you can spend on something else like compression.

Haha im loving all this good Inward feedback.

Id say just go threadless. I had a couple Threaded Inwards. No problems for me. But im still going threadless soon. Ill be getting a Zero Offset threadless. I dont really notice the difference in Zero Off, or Offset. So yea..lol.
