Hipsters and the radio killed this band for me within a month. Pumped up kicks was such a good song when my friend first showed it to me. Then it was on mtv, and from there it went to a local rap station.
How the fuck is a song like that on a rap station! I know why, hipsters...

They're a really really good band and they're starting to go "Mainstream" I'm not complaining about it thats actually great for them more money in there pockets more people listening to there music. The only problem I have is that no one listens to there other songs, everyone listens to pumped up kicks and thats the only song they know by them.

Yeah I mean pumped up kicks is a dope song, but the entire album is just as good! I don't get why I never hear the other songs... "Call it what you want" is super catchy, great song for radio, and "houdini" would be a sick song for an edit.

Thats what I mean. The hipsters are all like, Omg no one really knows this band yet, my favorite song is Pumped Up Kicks. How can people who are so concerned about not being "mainstream" love the ONE SONG that one like 3 stations, at least 8 times a day..

because....

1) everyone knows 1 song by them

2) song get overplayed on radio

3)song gets annoying and i hate the song after that

ex. "pumped up kicks"

I honestly think pumped up kicks is a overrated song. "I would do anything for you" is a wayyyy better song imo. And "Waste" is a great song too, "houdini, "warrant", "helena beat." All of those songs are wayyy better than overplayed pumped up kicks.

And yes, I have the whole album, it's great.
