FOUND THIS!.. Anyone know what it is?

Brian Boston

I got myself banned.
Augh. It seemed good until I saw the parts.
Threaded headset? Foamies... Threaded fork (I hope the tubing is thick at least)
Eagle wheels? (semi joke)

Room for improvement.
I love posts like this. No one bitches about the ultra pro for having threaded headset, threaded fork, but if some random new scooter comes out, if they don't meet every need its no good. You guys take shit for granted.

And seriously, who gives a fuck about the grips, you would probably change them anyway. I like foam, so sweet their foam, your fault you don't like foam. It give you more of a reason to put your favorite BMX grips on. Its not like grips cost $50.

Word.

And I'm 100% sure that District will provide threadless at one point. My guess is they just haven't gotten to it yet. Besides, this is a prototype anyways. Changes will most likely be made soon enough if needed.

^^ Yeah, just the two pieces of metal that aren't supported other than where they're welded. Sure it's not gonna be a wet noodle, but there could be some support. Any pictures of the deck itself?

District and Eagle are together..... Thats why all the eagle riders knew about it....

....Like I've already said before. We ARE working together, we make the wheels that will be on the complete scooter. All the parts will be sold seperatley though aswell. We only make them the wheels for their completes. Of course I told my riders about them, District needed these parts to be tested...why would I have the parts sent out to other riders, when they can be tested by some of the best riders in the sport? aka Eagle Sport.

I would've agreed with you BUT I do bitch about the ultra pro too. (headtube angle/fork only holding 100mm etc) I realize nothing is perfect but this sonofabitch is going to cost 100$ MORE than the ultra pro for basically ultra pro status parts. Hell, ultra pro + eagle wheels = ~160$. Save money.

I don't really care for the grips for the same reason you posted, they aren't expensive. I was just pointing out because foamies have come with (almost) every stock scooter since forever

if they put a lil bit of cross metal like x's in between the neckplates, that would make it so much stronger

No it wouldn't. No matter what you do, if you reinforce a headtube, it transfers the stress to another part of the tubing. And you also have to keep in mind, you can't have too much welds, otherwise the tubing would stress a lot easier. There is one thing Razor can do, and I actually talked to some of the in house designers at Razor today. They have this specific tubing design (forgot the name of it) they may try and have the next batch of Ultra Pro's with that design. In hopes that it would take some of the stress off the downtube where they have been snapping. Jason Beggs took his into Razor, and Razor has been doing some research into how to fix the problem. I'm taking in my bent deck sometime soon so they can figure that out too.

Because maybe it's none of your damned business. And maybe the team was told not to say anything until it is announced by the proper people.

So much you kids don't know...

So far from what I've seen/heard, this prototype is holding up perfectly fine. This photo below was posted on IS on Oct. 4th. And as far as I know, Balthazar had that scooter for at least a couple weeks prior to the photo. And to my knowledge he is still riding it with no issues. Balthazar is a pretty good street rider also.

Since you're an OG in frame building. Perhaps you're familiar with a company that was pretty popular in the mid-late 90's. UFO racing frames?! UFO's were a pretty strong. Same frame design, dual squared downtubes the race frames also had the same rear top and downtube design to the drop outs. If it works for BMX, it could definitely work for scooters, I'd say. Even if it is a race frame design.

josh your actually incorrect about that pic.
The deck in that picture is the french id deck, and Balthazar snapped it after a few months of testing. It was just a prototype though, but he said it was heavy. It is not the same deck as the District deck.

Okay, this thread made me come back to write something here.
Most of you know my name is Marcel and I am the owner of Eagle Sport Wheels ( a division of the FSP Group).
Eagle Sport makes wheels, wheels and wheels (and Bearings and spacers) for the scooterscene. Besides that we produce wheels, bearings and spacers for other brands and we do Rollerski's but thats a different story.
In the FSP Group there are different companies and they produce parts for a lot of brands, companies and stores Worldwide. This can be scooterparts, bikeparts, carbonparts, painballgun parts, clothing etc etc etc.
District is one of the companies and upcomming brands that is in the FSP Group. The District Brand is owned and setup by riders for riders. All designs are original and innovating and extremly tested before it is released to the public. They also can use the FSP Group knowhow and network for marketing purposes, testing and reselling.
And yes, the FSP Group also produced parts for K124 (FrenchID) but doesnt do that anymore.

Hope I cleared most of the stories going arround, please do not hesitate to contact me for questions.

Great Marcel.

Hate people that's bitching like this:
look at the hollow tube it will snap in like an hour, this is the weekest looking scooter i have ever seen, its like taking a tsi and cutting a hole in it so it has no strenth, tsi has double the material where this one has nothing at all "total fail"

You never tried it? How can you judge it so hard, without knowing anything about it?
If this scooter's getting released, then you'll know about material, strength and other specs. Also you just found the easiest thing in the world; criticizing.

omg im getting that i dont care if i have to sell my house .. only thing is hang 5s would be weird of u do them on the headtube

Basically in the FSP Group that Eagle Sport is also in there are a lot of other companies that make everything from snowboards, to bike frames, to clothing etc etc. Scooter parts is now added to that also. At Eagle Sport we will continue to make wheels and wheels only. District was started by a few riders, all parts are designed by quite a few different riders, who all add their input. They are being tested as we speak, and will be getting tested in the US within the next couple weeks by a lot of riders who I feel are really going to put this stuff through hell. I am choosing the people to test the Decks, Bars, Forks, etc etc myself. For any further questions about District contact me at steven@eagle-sport.nl OR Marcel

hopefully its not frid that shit will be glued together somewhere...ive heard that there are some big things coming from eagle so idk this might be one of them
