for sure going to the next but how about more notice. say, one month a head of time. also maybe have ramps or at a skatepark. as for pro ride products, i know for a fact that to make the headtube it would cost a max of say $50 and so for the deck and if your seriose about expanding the scene lower the prices but having prices as high as they are just shows everyone that ProRide is in it for the money.

It sounds like you know what your talking about do you own a machine shop by chance? Everyone has the own opinion on every company. Your right on the short notice we thew the BBq together. We will continue to produce cool things like this and hopefully we can give back to the scooter community. Below is what ProRide Scooter is all about and if you think different please come down to the shop and meet us before you pass Judgement. Or talk to our team riders...

i dont own a company but understand how they work ;)
i understand that you have to make profit for you to stay in buisness but in my oppinion, your going to get less buisness less often with a price of what you have. i would more than love to buy a ProRide deck and hedtube but at $200 thats way too high. starting off a company is hard to do and so far ProRide is off to a bad start with all of the posts that SR knows of too well. i think you started off a little too good in a way with a product in comparison with other companys ie; apple made the iPhone. the iPhone was amazing and all but Apple intentionally left out parts so that when people seen the iPhone at first they thought it was amazing and bought it but then Apple created the next generation iPhone with way more add-ons including the video camera and such... huge marketing scheme. im more than glad that didn't happen but im also dissapointed with the price. what ProRide should have done is slowly introduced their products to the scene with details on all along with a MUCH lower price, held back on the negative posts, and maintained the website better. people think ProRide is a marketing scheme because of the delay on site, improper names of products on site, negative posts, products look like other companies' products, prices, and noone really knows who ProRide is. as an example, most if not all people know who owns proto to where most if not all people on SR dont know who you are. we don't know your background all i know personally is that ProRide came up from nowhere and was affiliated with Active (another corperation company) and all i have heard is bad things but from the looks of the products, they look great. my point is, get into the scene, let people know who YOU are(not ProRide), and prove to us as a scene and community that you are not in it just for the money.


and by the way, ill be at the next BBQ ;)

To answer some questions. This is what we have been up to in the last 8 weeks.

ProRide Scooters has been open for 6 weeks.

1. We have a brand new 3600sq ft Shop with a full service scooter center.

2. We built a full website in less the 6 weeks

3. We carry Top brands Like Globe, Etnies Osiris, FSA, Protec, Odi, Yak, EagleSport, Odyssey, Reds, Lucky, Pigs, Razor, Jessup and More.

4. Were a sponsor of SD4

5. Sponsored Real Skoot Demos W/ Twon, Anthony, Raymond, Jolio

6. Sponsored Woodward West Scooter camp (and sent 5 kids)

7. We started the company within the scene and intend to grow it.

ProRide Scooters is still growing give it some time. This is a touch of what we are about. We are here to help the sport grow.

Bullshit. You say that your prices are high becuase they are High Quality products... no the kid is right. you are in it for the fucking money. I bet that the deck you made is gonna be bad (plus its ugly as sin). You copied the lucky deck WITHOUT A DOUBT which really pissed me of when i looked at it (shape, underneath, cnc'd, detachable headtube, and bolt underneath deck) and you still decide to make the complete deck and headtube a minimal of $220... PROTO scooters is sooo much more legit than your products and they havent made rediculous prices at all. The scooter scene is used to parts in a suspectable price range. Im kinda mad that this company with the most unlegit team ever jumps in here thinking theyre the new thing and start making RETARDED prices on the spot. Phoenix was a bit expensive but i ride one and i know that thing will last a life time... without a doubt. SORRY TO THOSE WHO LIKE PRORIDE but when i saw that they "are about family and community" i had to give my opinion. You have just earned your company one more hater.

ProRide seams legit it's just the matter that yes they seemed to copy the lucky decks to the t other than the headtube. i'd say with a little time of ProRide being in the community they will understand what we want and lower prices. Aslo they really need to take control of there team and what not because from what i've heard they are spoiled and show it. hopefully if ProRide can "greaten the scene" i think that they will fit right in but they need to change a lot of things especialy the deck design and price. im on the fence will ProRide but im also not some stupid pissed of ignorent kid like a lot of the kids on SR are acting when they say all the shit they say. give them a chance to hang out for a little, if you don't like the products or price, don't buy it!

Great Point Drake. Hopefully we can grow and help the scene. As i stated some facts above of how we have and are going to help the scene.
