Freezing Wheels

I was watching cribs and a skater said that freezing his wheels made them last 10 times longer. Has anyone tried this(with their scooter wheels)?

I have, but I haven't tried riding them, because I think they are still freezing. Since the last thread about this back in around June, they've been in. So is that like 10000000x stronger?

it doesn't do anything.

in order for them to get stronger you need your freezer to be cold enough to change composition of the molecules i believe.

the skate wheels that ryan sheckler freezes dont have cores. and this makes them harder so if you like soft wheels, dont do it.

I always do it because why not. It's not gonna hurt the wheels, and maybe it does make them last the smallest bit longer. I'm not riding the wheels so no harm done.

They might, bombing big hills and getting the wheels hot, than letting them sit will usually compact them and make them last a bit longer.
