and he asks me about scootering
i tell him thats like all i do
but my friends talk so much shit.

this was his response.

that is true, but at the same we're are trying to get this sport to expand, so we are in a bit of a predicament.

HOW DO YOU NO IF SKATER AND BMXERS AND MOTOCROSSERS ARNT IN IT 4 FUN, I RACE MOTOCROSS AND I DO IT FOR FUN NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO BE RICH, I DO IT FOR THE SAME REASON I RIDE SCOOTERS, BECAUSE I ENJOY IT!!!

lmao thats quite tru, to be honest... i dont want the sport to get big like skateboardin.... if it was this site would go down the hole and there wouldnt realy be a community anymore, so ya... hope it stays as it is, way more fun that way

yeah but if the sport did keep growing it wouldn't be nearly as tricky to get decent parts an you wouldn't even have to order them you could just ride to your local scooter shop there would be a lot more competitions and more people to ride with

No english major, but that's a pretty good point. People ride scooters to have fun and push themselves. They certainly don't do it to look cool.

real skaters and bikers arn't in it for the fashion, the companies, or money. its the posers who pay 250 dollars for some special shitty pants from a skate company then cry when they go and rip them skateboarding who are killing the sport. (i know a kid who did this)

if getting parts were as easy as it were in skateboarding, nobody would appreciate the things they had on there scooter and it would just be completely different so i think in a way its good

for someone who admits they are a noob that is so true, i used to skate and like every had pretty much exact same set ups. But in scootering no two people have the exactt same scoot

my pants weren't for skateboarding, they were designer, and I didn't cry haha

i think the person who wrote this realized how many people skate just cause its "cool"
and most people who scooter dont...

except ive noticed more kids with buffs, sr's and metal cores who cant even dub whip or hip any tranny.

That speech was pretty legit. Except there are still skaters and bikers who do it for fun, more so bikers now because it's still an up and coming sport, whereas skateboarding has passed its prime already. But notice how 99% of the time the skaters who bag you out for scootering or blading or biking, etc. whatever are the ones who buy a skateboard so they can hold it in their hand while walking places to look "cool". Same applies to some douche bmxers, even though there aren't too many of those..
