bm de bm :). i filmed my first one for siv2...which was a lonnng time ago. but i can hardly do them flat anymore. one footed at the best

no offence andrew, but that made it even more confusing for me..

so many ppl have called them so many different things... i think i'll use the noodle flip idea.

i really dont see how anything is that confusing..

back scooterflip/outward flip/outward impossible=the same thing

bri flip/back bri flip=same thing

front bri flip

front scooterflip/inward flip/inward impossible= same thing

and as for fs and bs, that refers to which side of your body you flip the scooter on, in front of you is fs, in back is bs, i do my scooterflips fs, matt ogle does them bs..but i never talk about that stuff with my scooterflips

I think its the other way around... like bs back scooterflips look awkward with fs spins and such...

what are you talking about? it has nothing to do with spinning, fs front scooterflip would be a scooterflip where i throw it and hold on with my right hand so it flips behind my back..

No, I dont mean that it has to do anything with spins. But generally, bs and fs are terms that don't mean that literally, they are used instead of left and right in sports in which a sideways-based stance is involved. So, basing on spins, for regular stance:
fs - left
bs - right
so scooterflips on the right side for a regular rider would be bs.

wtf, i understand nothing in this thread, i say we do them and dont give them a specific name. we call them scooterflips, no matter if its front, back, bri, or regular.

Seriously, it's not rocket science. Think about it... you have 2 hands (2)... you can throw 2 different kinds of scooter flips(2) with each hand...

2(hands) x 2(scooterflips) = 4 variations

Now repeat that process for Bri flips and you get 4 more variations.

4(variations) + 4(variations) = 8 variations

If you ignore FS and BS you are just mashing different tricks into one name which is why everyone is getting confused. Everyone is making up their own names instead of calling them what they are.

FS and BS does not mean left and right... it IS literal.

FRONTSIDE = In FRONT of you.
BACKSIDE = Behind you(In BACK of you).

Spins are confusing though just imagine a backside 360... you are throwing you backside INTO the spin, same with frontside... you are throwing the frontside(toe side) of your deck forwards into the spin. Don't think left or right or that will just confuse you even more.

"FS scooterflip" just tells you that you are doing a SCOOTERFLIP in FRONT of you. It does not tell you if it is a front or back scooterflip though. You would have to say either "fronside frontflip" OR "frontside backflip" depending on if you are flipping forwards or backwards.

idk if you meant to say that andrew but its wrong..haha a scooterflip to the right for a regular rider is fs. and idk, i never say bs or fs since ive never seen anyone scooterflip on their opposite side before, but every once in a while i try and then have to explain to whoevers with me why im not landing it..haha
