it fits on my pro easily. you must have a different one or you need a different spring

You have to grind off the little lip on the bottom that sticks out first. The one with the hole in it. Then the hard part.. Get a dremel, and cut of a square for the spring slot. Grind out legs and make them smooth. It's really hard.
