i have mine.

my dropouts are cracked and they didnt seem like the were gunna last long, but i was gunna try a 9 stair. instead of a new scooter i just bought alex's reinforcements.

my dropouts havent cracked or bent any more than they were and i believe it has added some time to my deck.

positives
+ super strong
+ has made my deck last much longer
+ very sexxxy
+ not really heavy.
+ very easy to put on
+ still slides pretty good when grinding.

negatives
- takes like 2-5 minutes longer to change a wheel.
- after a while of riding, the bottom will get beat up and look a little ugly, but you can fix if you get grind rails.

overall i believe that these reinforcements are worth it because they have made my deck last, and little things about appearance or taking a minute to change a wheel is worth it.

btw if you are getting these, remember that you have to loosen the other bolts holding on the reinforcement if you have trouble taking off the back axle bolt.

Edit: For those who care, the reinforcements and the axle weigh about 13 ounces.

im kinda sad too the way the general design is... it would mak me feel like im cheating on icepicks, a trick a do a lot

Yeah you can still turn well, I always try to do icepick chinks on flat by leaning and it's still pretty hard.

Matt, technically you're still doing them pegless, so it's all good!

yeah i'd feel like cheating too cause i do 50-50s so much now and it would seem like it would be a shitload easier with el reinforcements

but whatever. alex you can be expecting an order come through from me soon i just need money but tomorrows christmas so its all good :)
