FS: Square (pirate) reinforcements

Yes, I accept Paypal.

Alright, I'm gonna sell square, aluminum reinforcements just like the ones I have. I'm gonna sell them for $25, this includes the reinforcements and the bolt and nut for the back wheel.

I'm not selling the deck with this. This will only work on Pro models.

All you'll have to do when you get it is take out the four bolts in the front of your Pro, put the reinforcements on, and put the screws back in. Then you can just put the bolt in the back like a normal axle.

You will have to use your own old wheel spacers as spacers in the reinforcements. Without these, they will flex and bend when you tighten the axle bolt down. Just use ones from old Pro/B models that go on either side of the back wheel.

You won't even have to take your brake off, since the reinforcements go around the brake bolt/nut.

They will look like this when on your scooter.

Also for sale, reinforcement reinforcements! For those of you who do icepicks and feebles a bunch, these are a must. They prolong the life of the ends of the reinforcements very well, $5 extra when you buy reinforcements or $5 shipped if you want them by themselves.

The silver deal on the outside is the reinforcement reinforcement.

how much have these been tested? they don't even look like they are that tight onto the deck...

i may be interested, i just wanna make sure that it will be worth the buy.. i haven't done any reinforcements to my new deck yet.

(btw, the first set of reinforcements i did ever made a deck last 17 months, the 2nd set i did it only lasted like 8 months)

Erik, the tubing alone is 12.5 ounces, but that's totally uncut and stuff. It'll be cut down so about 6" of that will be gone, and there will be a bunch of holes drilled in it. And the axle will weight more than a stock one because it's longer and steel. So overall I think it'll add a bit less than a pound.

Edit: Matt, they haven't really been tested. But I've made flat bar reinforcements that made my old B deck last a year, the only reason it broke was because they didn't go all the way to the front and the foldy ripped out. They might not look like they're tight to the deck, but they are. I'm not sure if in that picture I tightened the back down all the way, and they won't be totally flush anyway because the bottom of the deck flares out a bit, and the top edge hangs down too.

Hell yeah dude, I got mad rep on this site haha. I think it's because I actually have all the metal and stuff already, if I remember correctly you just proposed the idea, but here I'm already $100 deep in square tubing.

Edit: For those who don't know, I'm down with Nick, we rode way back when he lived somewhere way the hell out in southern Az lol.

Dalton, yeah, probably.

I'm not sure how much shipping will be for anyone. I know that I'll be shipping them in one of those tube dealies that will be about as long as a Pro, and they weigh less than a pound, so figure it out. It won't be too much.
