Cutting your headset is probably the worst possible thing you can do.
TAKE IT TO A BIKE SHOP and have it done right.

i had to file down the top of my cup (the part which goes into the headtube) on both cups about 2 mm, so the cup would go all the way in

put wooden blcoks on it
and clamped that shit in there
and it went in like sex

aheadset unsealed bottom heckskcka fast stock top

once you do get it in it might start to squeak cause mine did.

if it does just put some 3 in 1 on it and it will work great
