FSA Pig unsealed

Is it better than cane creek s-3? Does it spin faster or make your scooter more dialed? Right now I can't stand my cane creeks constant loosening an wobbleing and just downright suckin

Unsealed is generally faster, but not as smooth. But my old pig was suprisingly smooth and pretty fast. Also, headsets don't get loose or wobbly, that's your compression.

I have locknut compression that's probably why it's loose. I rode a kids at the park and he had one and it was really smooth and fast, and his scooter sounded like a basketball even with locknut compression

What he means by breaking in, i'm guessing is when you use the headset enough that it grinds the bearings down every so slightly, that there is less friction because they are smaller, like wheels.

That, and whatever lube you use changes a little over time and gets spread out more evenly, making it either faster, smoother, or both.

And threaded compression + some locktite, or a hint of luck = dialed.

Hardware store. It's a thread locking glue.

This, and if you don't have a hardware store around, just keep your eyes out at other shops. I've seen it it Wal Mart, Target, and some small business general stores before. Hobby Shops have it sometimes, but that's pretty rare.

Also, don't get the red locktite unless you plan having to cut your fork out. Get the blue stuff.
