So recently ive been seeing alot of new female riders popping up and for some reason, within a year of them starting or so they get picked up by teams. My question is, why are all these non-experienced riders being put on well known/respected teams?

I understand that they're girls, and we dont have many of them on scooters but sponsoring a rider basically just because said rider is a female is sexist. Towards the community and the rider.

I can think of 3 girls who ride scooters, who are on prominent teams, that could be easily replaced by your everyday TIC rat if those girls were sponsored because of their skill.

The only reason i could see fit for sponsoring those in-experienced riders is maybe for sales purposes like attracting more attention from potential girls interested in riding scooters but otherwise, i dont really see whats the point of almost every girl stepping on a scooter getting put on.

I dunno. Just a thought.

Sponsors don't just look for the best riders, they look for the best people to represent their product. Female riders attract a lot of attention, so companies want them riding their parts so that that attention gets directed towards the company.

I don't even know what night you are talking about. I have no problems with you personally, The only thing I have a problem with is the way you market your company, which was supposed to take over scootering pretty much, but it is a clothing company. Clothing will not take over a sport.

Was just talking about female riders at my local today. About some girl that rode at the old Hunt Park Comp from 2007, Nooner may know who im talking about. But I've seen some fairly legit female riders, saw one the other night that seemed to just started out or trying to get better. But more girls need to get into the sport haha. Plus companies will put females on their teams to open up to more people, not a team of guys, marketing to girls when none ride for them. So just getting it more open, advertising to others, and not all skill to be on a team.

Giz Radford is on Madd. They posted a video of her doing possibly the worlds lowest ever flip. Apart from backflips, her best trick is probably a whip air or a double whip flyout though. She is more on the team to represent the girl community, because she is quite popular with scooter kids that think if they bumlick her enough they will bone her.

Shannon Francis is good, so is Cloe Coldicott and Charlotte Worthington.
