Why not make them like pegs were you can put sleeves on them after there worn down?

A normal alumium or chromoly peg,plastic sleeve held in place by a grub screw so you can replace them when they break?

i did that with pvc and socket pegs... pretty anoying stretching the pvc onto the peg, but slid anythiingngggnggngngngng

edit: not running pefs anymore cuz the axles bent easy when the axle is all the way through the peg

$16 is cheap as, if they were in Australia id buy them, just say they lasted you 4 months, all you'd have to do is save 50c a day

I have some,they are pretty boss.They slide so fast its like you are still rolling on your wheels
