yeah usaully i just apologize and leave, but every once in awhile there is a random person who hates their life and is all pissed off, its fun to mess around with them( store owners or citizens, not cops )

I feel for you kids and was a kid many moons ago but now I'm adult with a business and Insurance- Putting a Disclaimer does absolutely nothing to protect me from some moron who wants to sue me because their kid got hurt on my property.

Now my Insurance will most likely cover the claim BUT after we make a claim, my insurance will go up so this is why businesses don't want skate boards, scooters, bikes riding around on the property.

Anyhooo- as most everyone seems to suggest, just move on. Sucks but not much you can do- Even if you come across an asshole just move on because in the end the Cops will side with the Property owner and you just end up getting detained or hassled

IMO, if you're on someone elses property doing something without their consent and you get injured, it's your fault; suing makes you the scummyiest doucher on the planet.

^^ I agree entirely. I have no idea why you can sue for stuff as stupid as injuring yourself whilst robbing their tv.

It doesn't matter what it makes you, you can still do it, and people don't want to take the risk.

i usually don't argue because its such a waste of energy and time. you will always lose in an argument. But when they do ask me to leave, i always ask them 'why?'. IF they give me a reasonable and logical answer fair enough but if they dont i give them some attitude.

Theres a really nice 4 and 5 with perfect rails a block from my house at this jewish temple.. and they usually arent there to kick us out but one time, There was a guy who called the cops.. When the cop got there he yelled at us but my friend was practicing a line and didnt notice the cop was there and he trucked the 5... Then the cop thought we kicked ass and watched us ride there for another 15 minutes... Funnest time ever

Got kicked out of a sick rail today, was riding with some of my BMX buddies, and there is a nice brick ledge right beside it that they were riding, and across the street was some hippie stand selling tie dye shirts, some old guy rolls up and starts screaming at my friend for hitting the ledge and starts to approach us (soon to back off, being 7 of us). I just think its ridiculous that someone WHO DOESNT own the property thinks they clearly have the right to harass us and call us assholes. We rode away and he threatened to follow us, usually a normal thing, i just have always wondered how someone can do something like that, then call US the assholes.

I fucking hate the "you can't play here line." especially since if the local park allowed scooters I wouldn't even ride the shitty street my neighborhood. If someone tries to kick me out I just ignore them or tell them they can call the cops or eat a dick. or If they're nice you just leave. One time this one cop that was asking us to leave asked why we couldn't go to the local skatepark, and we told him that we're not allowed in there, all he said was "this town confuses the fuck outta me" and drove away hahaha

If someone tells me to leave I just say sorry and leave I dont get why people will argue back first off then you get the police involved and then you get a ticket and if your young your parents get involved if you are nice and leave maybe they will let your ride again

Its not the suing, if your a businesses owner and someone gets hurt on your property, you are considered liable for that rider getting injured, then the cost of whatever you're charged goes on your insurance deductable

So yes it is true when business owners say they are liable for your injuries...

I'll usually just pick up my stuff and leave before they can even say anything to me. But if it's a straight asshole thats like yelling or something, I'll argue the fuck back. Dgaf goon lyfe.

I wouldn't reccomend it though, I got arrested about 6 months ago for "damaging property" and then argueing with the store owner cause honestly it was absolute bullshit. They kept me there and then the cop came and took me to the police station and I had to call my mom. She wasn't mad at all though cause she knows all about assholes kicking kids out.

I'm a pussy about spots after that day, seriously just leave its not worth it.
