Everyone will tell you Pro. The Razor Pro Model is the best scooter on the market and is priced reasonably. There has been a number of threads about how the new pros have been defective in some ways. I got mine off of razorama and it was fine. So that might be a good place to look. Walmart has them online for 45 and free shipping to your local Wally World. I'm not sure of whether they are defective or not. I'm sure somebody will know. You'd probably want to get a sheet of grip tape and bolts to lock your mech (All 2 1/2" long, 2x 5/16 and 1x 3/8 in width. Get washers and nuts to match. Bolts can be found at the local hardware store and grip tape can be found at your local skateshop) These things will add maybe $9 to the total of your Pro and add lots of life to it. There is a tutorial on how to bolt your folding mechanism at the top of this page in a sticky. It is a simple process, you just might be confused on where the bolts go. If that doesn't help you should look at the "YOUR SCOOTER" thread, as all scooters in that thread have a bolted mech. I hope I helped.

buy a pro model and some easy and i guess cheap but good upgrades would be
-locking your folding mech
-getting new wheels and bearings (can be cheap)
-getting new grip tape(stock sucks)
- and maybe grips at your local bike store or danscomp

Walmart and stuff is so cheap now. Look at the grips on the bikes, they're plastic. I'm dead serious, too. Plastic. It's worse than riding metal bars.
