ghetto scs

hey, i was wonderin how wonderfully the ghetto scs would work... its when you get a quad clamp then, cut off the slits on the bottom of ur bars then have a starnut in ur forks then put the star nut bolt over the clamp(like how the hic kit looks) then, put the quad clamp on over the shim(should only go over 2 of the bolts on the quad clamp) then put ur bars(with no slits) into the quadclamp(should only be on the top 2 bolts on quadclamp) then tighten it all up... how good do u think that would work?

I don't think it's as reliable as the proto scs, but go for it.

My blunt clamp snapped from too much pressure.

i was going to do the same thing it is a temporary scs that isnt as good as the proto scs(obviously) but if you use a defiant clamp like i was going to then there is no slit in the middle and it will be less likely to snap.

issac miller did this. he said it broke pretty fast. but the concept is correct, just if you had a stonger clamp.
