madd gear? he he. they are super good with tube reinforcements cause they are so easy to do stuff on.
I thought you could only get them in Australia?

get a pro model, or a madd gear if you can get them in america.

alright if you don't wanna/don't have enough money to get a pro and other stuff for it, you might wanna try this:

look around town for old a type scooters. usually you can find them in garage sales for like 2 bucks, or ask around your friends for one. if you don't know what they are look at the top of the "scooters" section, theres a sticky'd thread explaining scooter models.

once you have the old a, lock the mech. you don't have to go to a hardware store to look for bolts, just look around your house, or like your garage if you have a little shop or something. you really only need 2 bolts if you tighten them hard enough.

you'll wanna get griptape, doesn't really matter what kind, thats your preference.

then you'll want to clean and soak the headset/wheel bearings. just clean them off with a paper towel. then soak them in rubbing alcohol for like 10 minutes, not too long or they'll start to rust. then put em back in, and lube them with 3 in 1 oil, which is a common household item.

now, if you have a drill, you'll want to bolt your t-tube. just drill sideways into the t-tube/steer tube and put your old micro front axle in it, then you can take off the annoying and painful quick release clamp. you can also bolt your handlebars, just drill through where the button holes are and put some bolts through there.

this would be a decent starter setup, for very cheap. for more info on these mods, look in the scooter modding super thread at the top of the "scooters" section. i know i've forgotten some easy mods so be sure to look in there anyway.

hope i helped dude.

that was very in-depth (Y) props
and also if u dont like the feel of stock bars get a trolley pole and put it through ur t-tube then bolt it.
if u want a better discription than that there are about 1000 threads on trolley bars so yer search :)

i started off with a A model razor. i customized it and stuff before i started riding. full gripped it and bike handle bars. crappy upgrade. but it was ok for beginning

those little 3 wheeler disney princess scooters.they cost about $40 and break when you try to 180. the wheels snap on whips. i dropped one and the front wheel LAUNCHED off into the deep depths of my yard. definitely the BEST starter scooter around.
