GoPro over a regular Camcorder

Not sure if this was asked a lot, but aside from the size and price as well with the features on it, what would you guys prefer over the other, GoPro or just your plain 'ol camcorder, might sound stupid to some people because of all the obvious differences, but I am pretty sure there are quite a few people who have both and would either prefer both or one over the other

Dont buy a GoPro to film edits...GoPro's are made to be mounted to a helmet or objects to portray a different aspect of normal filming...Just using a GoPro to film like a fisheye camera is just no.

yep. gopro footage other than helmet cam stuff is shitttttty. don't do it.
