I'd be happy to. We mold the brake and pin together using an elastomer material. Essentially the brake is a torsion bushing. You push on the brake, the elastomer deforms, you release the brake, the elastomer returns. No moving parts to wear out or make noise. You can also adjust the ride height of the brake with an adjustment screw. A little of the science behind it for those interested - the elastomer is deforming to 15% of it's capability during normal conditions. We cycle tested the brake at 50% and it performed fine. Hence the lifetime warranty.
