You guys have totally killed lucky by doing this. Why not chage the smx forks atleast a tiny bit?

In it just for cash? Seen a company that sells well (lucky) and made their parts in china for cheaper just to earn a quick buck. Way to destroy a legit company.

Also lets all give a warm welcome to the return of yak fly wheels!!!

Mitch if you haven't noticed Vertx and Lucky used to work together, there stuff was made in the VertX factories. Meaning the SMX fork and other items ARE the same, but neither VertX or Lucky own a patent for them.
Yes, they've killed lucky but they deserved to because they have the same products for lower prices.
Vertx <3
Hope I can buy some stuff for you guys when the sites up completely !

I never had a problem with Lucky when ordering from them but I do have to say that VertX seems much more down to earth. I like companies like that, where you can easily contact someone if you have questions. Scooterzone, TSI, and now VertX have been an absolute pleasure to order from, and are on the top of my list for customer service.

I completely agree with you. Having the owner so active in the resource is just appealing, and also extremely helpful. Vertx is gonna get reallll big.

They make their parts in the US dumbass. They have the right to make these products, seeing as they weren't patented, and VertX made them in the first place.

And they have made different SMX forks, as you can see they have Zero Offset ones.

Do the bearings fall out over time or warp.
Are the wheels hard like twizzlers, and are they fast?
Mine haven't done anything yet, they still spin well, no chunks, haven't worn down much at all. They are like brand new.

Mitchwashere53,
I was going to let this one go but it ate at me too long. I am submitting this post to clear a few things up. First, every part on our web site is MY design. Let me say that again if you didn't get it the first time. EVERY part on our web site is MY design. Just because you saw it somewhere else first does not change this fact. Now that we have cleared that up, tell me why I can not do what I want with my stuff?? If any other company is as "legit" as you say they are then they should have no problem coming up with their own designs and prospering. I’m not trying to “kill” any company. I’m neither that naïve or arrogant. What we are trying to do is grow this sport by making the best in high performance parts available to a broader range of people. The people that can afford to pay $500 - $600 “or more” for a “top of the line” scooter should consider themselves fortunate and realize that they are the minority. There are lot’s of people that can only dream of having such a luxury.
Connzi’s statement needs altering also. We actually have several patents in process on our designs. There is only one way to get intellectual property patented – you have to be the FIRST! Again, confirmation that these are our designs.
As far as the China reference - if you are inferring that we are importing from China for a quick buck, I've got news – NOT. With as many companies in this sport doing this very thing we should be a breath of fresh air! If you look at our pricing and think we are in this for profit only, I have to ask what your opinion of some of our competitors is.
We have been R&D'ing and manufacturing parts for this sport for years in our own facility here in the Pacific Northwest USA. Anyone who questions that is welcome to stop by and take a look for themselves. I'm not going to throw a lot of dirt at this topic, I'm going to do what I do best – design new stuff, make high quality parts; and now that I have the platform - sell them at reasonable prices!
If you or anyone else has any issue with us selling our own stuff then don't buy it - spend more for your parts and go have fun!! We are here to support the sport either way.
Thanks for everyone’s feedback so far – we have a lot of work to do yet but we are getting there.

Wow, that was a good explaination. I dont think anyone can argue the legitimacy of this company anymore.
I like that the parts are so simple. They dont use all the fancy laser crap, and thats probably what keeps the prices so reasonable.
