any grease alternative? dont have any. or money to get some. i have wd-40 but people say thats bad for it. my headset was working fine now its smooth in one spot and reeeeally slow in one spot.
WD-40 is a degreaser, you can use it to clean the headset but it gets rid of any grease that's in there so it'll run dry. So use it to make sure everything is clean then rub some dick skin on it.
I've used Pam cooking spray out of desperation on scs bolts. there's no long term alternative too really lube/grease. Just go to a local shop and pick some up it will save you money and problems.
