Congratulations! Sean is the first to snap WEE
v3 bars at the bottom.
And that is because he was trying force the bars to go on a THREADLESS fork using mechanical tools,
while the
v3 bars have a slightly smaller inner diameter (0.005" smaller).
Thus creating a crack by using mechanical force, which grew and snapped eventually.
Like i've said before:
I've offered and i'm still offering Cardwell a 20% discount with free shipping for new Simplex bars which don't have that problem. Or i'll do the same discount and free shipping for a SCS which will solve the problem and wou will be able to use your v3 bars on a threadless fork.
At least you would get something, because if you were asking anything from a bigger corporation like Razor, they would have just ignored you or sent you to hell. I'm being really generous already for offering a discount and free shipping for a mistake which he is responsible for.
If you don't like my offer, don't use it. I'm being kind to you and you are being a dick. !mistrust
As said before,
v3 bars have slightly smaller inner diameter, they will fit on stock threaded forks, but you will have problems with threadless forks. In the other hand, they work perfectly with SCS. So if you want to use your v3 bars on your THREADLESS forks, get a SCS.
New WEE
Simplex bars in the other hand fits on both threaded AND threadless forks due to slight changes of the steertube,
which is why i call them Simplex: they are simple and the fit on every 1 1/8" fork, regardless if it's threaded or threadless.
