grip pins/super grip on dirt scooter

im making this thread as many people who will get the dirt scooter will probably want to ride it whilest it is wet or raining and i am wondering the best way to have grip pins on it? as in how to install them properly

Drill holes, screw pins in

simple. great, its just ive never used them and was wondering if they were threaded into the deck
