Might want to try a Wrap of some sort- road bikes use handle bar wrap

You could even try Tennis Racquet grip tape

It won't offer any Cushion but you may find the "grip/feel" ok for you.

my addict grips aren't sticky
my odi's were at first but then i boiled them
my blunt grips were only sticky when i t was over 60 degrees outside
my animal edwins weren't sticky but they were slippery

ive ridden these before. they seem to fit your description of your ideal grip. also i would recommend odyssey chase hawk grips.
