How do you full griptape your scooter like when it comes stock how do you make it perfect?sorry for the pointless thread

take off the back wheel take off the grip that comes with is (use a lighter or match to melt the glue then scrape/peel it off with a knife) then lay out the grip-tape and take a knife and cut around the edges to make it perfect then grind down the sides with the side of the blade or a file or whatever and make sure there aren't air bubbles. good luck! i hope that helped

way i do it
take the grip and a razor blade take off the back wheel and brake lay the grip on there sticky and cut off what you dont need

just pull off the old one and placeit on the paper side of ur new grip tape and trace around it then cut it out.

i do like awesome jobs on grip i do everyone of my friends grip jobs and all there scoots look awesome all you do is take of the wheel and brake. then take off the head to measure and area where the foldy is so it doesnt look like junk up by the foldy and cut that out then when you lay it down center the front area all up and lay it down. after that just cut around the edges in clouding brake area/ wheel area with a razor but make sher the razor is at an angle and cut from the sticky side up

Its the same as on a skateboard...

1. Use a hair drier to warm up the old griptape and start peeling it off.

2. Cut a rectangle barly bigger then your deck.

3. Peel off backing on new grip and place it on your deck.

4. Use a razor blade to cut the griptape to the size of your deck.

5. Use the razorblade and poke out any air bubbles.

6. Go shred.

Use mob grip with the holes in it so you dont get air bubbles.

what i do it take off the razor pro grip tape and just trace the crap razor pro grip tape onto the back of the grip tape. you can also just trace it on a piece of paper so them you can save it for another time or scooter.
