Gus rymer on MADD

Everyone that's saying MADD is in it for the money, NO SHIT SHERLOCK.
Find one damn company that isn't doing something for the money, Find somewhere that makes something for 5 cents then sells it to people for 5 cents, you can't.
Also MADD Gear Riders aren't "sellouts" or "flyout whores" whoever says that is completely idiotic.
People would love to make money riding scooters and MADD offers that to their riders, which is why they pick to be on MADD, and there is no rider on MADD that riders straight flyout except Cody Niederberger on MGP NZ.

Other scooter companies e.g. proto also seek to improve the sport and help scootering. Thats what everybody means when they say madd is in it for the money

Hahahaha. Why doesn't everyone hate on razor as much as everyone hate on Madd Gear. They make scooters with chalk on the back and scooters that spark when ridden. I honestly don't see why MG gets so much hate when clearly it's one of the leading companies pushing the boundaries of scooter design and production. Just because it's not "rider owned" does not mean that company is in-superior to other companies. Madd Gear decks are without a doubt one of, if not the strongest deck on the market currently. I honestly don't get it.

Razor does some pretty dumb shit but they started this sport and they definitely pushed it. MGP decks aren't the strongest on the market tsi, district, proto are just a few of the top of my head that are stronger

How does everyone just think that only MGP is in it for the money but all these other great companies are trying to push the sport and aren't in it for the money?
MGP pushes the sport aswell as every other decent company out there, MGP and Phoenix got scooters for a week into Woodward East, i believe that is pushing the sport to help get riders in there to help practice to get better.
If MGP didn't want to help push the sport they wouldn't do alot of stuff that they do today.

I agree with this completely, honestly I guarentee if MADD offered ANY of you spots on thier team you would take it in a heart beat. But the only MADD team I hate is the UK team, they don't do much. I agree with derek though, I would much rather watch Joe or Tyler boost a bowl then watch someone huck themselves down stairsets. I've never even seen a MADD rider have flyout clips. They all shred 10x harder then half the people on this forum(no offense). But gus would be stupid not to take the spot in my opinion.

This. The ignorance level of a just about EVERYONE in this thread is ridiculous. First of all, people are still ranting about it changing Gus' riding style, but he even said it himself that it won't. And like Zach said, I can gauruntee 100% of the ignorant fucks in this thread would take a spot on MADD if they had the chance, whether it be for the money, or realizing you just got a spot on one of the BIGGEST companies in this sport. The only thing making the sport go backwards is you retards that don't know anything and just come in here and bash a company they know nothing about. Talking about Gus, I don't think his riding will alter that much. I remember worrying about Collin DaSilva, I loved his style while he was on Phoenix, but actually after switching to MADD his riding didn't change that much, he even shreds more now. So I hope Gus would still ride street and park equally.
Though I am a street rider, I respect all those MGP shredders, just dislike the scooters this company makes and their brand image.
