Hey ease up zanje I've been listening to this stuff far longer than most of the people here and I clearly clarified that most of the bands I listed are metalcore. And I didn't list any deathcore bands mind you. And I'm not a kid I'm 17 ease up

Despised Icon was a Canadian deathcore band from Montreal, Quebec.

Cholera is a deathcore band from Cleveland Ohio. Signing to Compton Records in early 08.

Just sayin, there's a few there.

But everyone in here kinda missed what hardcore is.

despised icon are deathcore but you have to admit they have alot of hardcore influences, once again i dont listen to much hardcore except for the ghost inside who are amazing btw
but you know more about hardcore than i do

Wow, every time Ive brought up TGI in the play or delay it thread and the your shows thread, not many people listen to them. I LOVE them. I saw them with Parkway Drive and The Warriors.

Im also pretty amazed that Blind Witness and And Hell Followed With... were mentioned. Theyre both crazy bands, and pretty under-rated.

But anyway, Kieran Peterson, are you talking about post-hardcore stuff, or old style hardcore? Because every hardcore thread ever made dies out because of the confusion and everyone just starts arguing about which is better.

I listen to loadsa post hardcore, but this is about hardcore, and I don't listen to that.

No No... these aren't "hardcore" bands. This is deatchore, metalcore, ect.

Hardcore is different. I'm not hating on these genres... but this is a hardcore thread. Keepin it that way.

It would be a good thread, but as stated before, threads like this always die out because of the pointless arguing about the differences between different Core genres. Honestly, who the fuck cares. Don't study music, just listen to it. Jeez.

Careful what you are saying. It's evident by your posts you really don't have any background information on what you are talking about and are just sort of scumbbing pointlessly.

Music goes beyond the boundary of being JUST music for a lot of people involved in a lot of different genres of music.

Hardcore is no different whatsoever.

As a Scooter Rider would you like to be compared to a Ripstick Rider?

No.

Hence why people get upset so fast about grouping bad bands/wrong genres in with what Hardcore really is and really means.
