headset/bars question (i searched)

im looking to get back into the sport, lets say i got a razor pro model locked foldy from like 2 or so years ago, with some random 1 piece 15 wides on it. which bars would allow me to have 22 wide 24 high backsweep, and just be able to throw it right on a razor pro threaded fork? ive looked everwhere and it seems bars of those measurements always need scs. so is it not possible cause it would break too easily or something?

Phoenix Suicides or Inward bars should work, man.
They wouldn't be weak. I like 24 high as well, but I only use 18 wide.
Try FSP or Inward Scooters for custom sizing.

alright thanks ill look at those. cant believe how much stuff there is now.

edit: ok well fsp is pretty much out of stock on everything, and the pheonix bars are kinda...ugly,also looks like they dont have sweep and the crowbars in the freestyle depot only go up to 22 high for threaded. i just really want some wide backsweep without having to buy a scs and a fork.

you dont need threaded bars, the only threaded bars are stock razor pro bars. not even anymore

no shit guys he knows that haha
There are so many more companies that have come out. 2 inches for height won't make such a difference. On a razor pro, having 24 high bars would feel awkward comapared to 22 high due to the lower headtube angle. Just get crowboars from freestyle depot. I have them and they feel great. One of my friends put on some 24 highs on his pro mod and said it felt so awkward. He's 6'3" and 22 high just seems perfect overall for height, for anyone really

When I did ride, I was riding 23 highs. They were a perfect height even though im only like 6. which is pretty insane for a year 7 but im hella tall. so yeah knowing how tall you are could be helpful. I say just go for the 22s unless your lots bigger then 6.

PS: Daaawg, you parked your shit in the wrong section my gee!

yeah even an inch feels totally different to me. it looks like the proto bars can be bought 24 high for a threaded fork, but no backsweep which i would really prefer. i guess i might have to settle for something else then. how are the new razor pro models?

how tall are you?? im like 5,6 or somthing and i have 18h but then its all personal preferance. i reckon you'd get used to 22h though

I'm sorry but that is completely false. 2 inches in height for bars is an entirely different scooter.

I didn't mean it like that, I meant more that going from 24 to 22 would not be that drastic. I mean you can get used to any part given a few days, and in the long run 22-23 high would be better than 24+

nah, ive been riding 22 high like since i started, but i want higher bars nows. since i dont have much money, i think im gonna get the razor ultra pro since it comes with 26" high bars, i can cut them down. and i can deal with 18 wide. only thing is, the headtube angle looks horrible, way too inward. can anyone who has one tell me if the angle feels ok?

if you were riding a pro model, i dont think you will find much of a difference in the ultra, except, when you first get it, (the deck is like half an inch - an inch shorter) you are like, holy ----- the deck is short! but you get used to it in like 20 minutes. i did the same thing.
