I just bought the new addict deck and headset, i greased it up a bit and put it on with my SCS But it spins really slow. Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)

I have the same problem with my district headset. It got better as it wore in, but it still is not as good as other headsets I have had.
If my HIC comes loose, then it spins perfect, but then I risk a loose compression.
The best advice I can give is try to let it break in for a while.

Is there any way of speeding up the process of breaking them in (anything but spinning them with your wrists)

im having the same problem and Im using the addict headset and i've never had this problem before on my district with FSA and SCS, i've been riding for about a week and its still not broken in, its actually getting worse and when I first got it, it was fine, i've came to the conclusion it might be that the headset was made for use with the addict ICS possibly? Either way im switching to my FSA to see if that works

Try cleaning all previous oils and such out of there. Take the Shields off very carefully then soak the bearings in terpentine for a day or two
