headset sucks

i got a v2i and intergrataed district headset and when i titghten it up it hardly makes one spin around and just wondering how i should grease it to make it quicker or lube it or what should i do and how and any things to avoid doing

Your compression ring, or a seal is in upside down. Compression right is the little silver thing that is shaped like an o with a hole in it.

This might sound dumb but the compression ring is at the top rigt not the bottom new too headsets ahha

Sounds like your headset definitely isn't installed correctly. From the bottom up, with an integrated headset it should go crown race on the fork (make sure it's all the way on, it can be hard some times), bearing in the bottom cup, bearing in the top cup, slide the fork through, slide the compression ring down over the fork until it clicks into the top bearing, then put the dust cover over that. And then obviously your compression system comes next. A brand new headset will sometimes squeeze the grease out the first time you compress it too, so it's a good idea to clean and grease your headset whenever you have to take your compression apart.

I have problem too... My FSA headset spins sometimes fine, sometimes it spins only like 1 round. The reason might be that, my decks integrated cup is dented. (not sure about the word)

yeah i have done all that correctly and it is working fine now not coming loose i just took off the hic and reinstalled the headset and now it works good
