starting to get into it. im listening to pandora and i just typed in slayer. im listening to Slayer, Metallica, Megadeath, etc... post good bands. i like when theres a shit load of double base and hardcore drums and bass. more fast pase and not screemo where its a poem or whatever screemed, more like mettalica style.

When I think of Death Metal I think of bands like "Death" and "Necrophagist". ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_metal )

The bands you cited are more on the lines of whats called "Thrash Metal".

Pantera and Slayer are my favorite though, hope you enjoy them as much as I did when I first found them haha I remember doing my paper route about your age rocking out to Dead Skin Mask by Slayer

Edit: If you are looking for a band kind of like the ones you mentioned try "Exodus". Same genre for the most part.
