HEAVY METAL scooter

This is my new scooter. Its made of 3 steel pipes, and it is heavy. Its too heavy. Its so heavy that you could replace the words 'your mamma' in the 'your mamma is so fat that...' jokes with this scooter. Its so heavy that its not even funny:

It had it welded together and holes drilled by a mehanic and my grandpa. Actually it doesnt seem too hard to ride. I rode it once and I can hardly do 360s (my glasses fall off, lol) and catch whips on flat on it, but thats it, no way I can dub of fingerwhip on flat on this, also Ill prolly have a hard time when trying to scooterflip this. But hey, arent whips and scooterflips overdone and hated by everyone? Another thing is that maybe after learning to whip around this hunk of steel well Ill take a normal scooter and find myself doing triples on flat? dunno. I already have a design thats lighter and way easier to put together but its hard to get a 4" or 5" by 1" steel profiles here. Anyway this one is just a prototype.

Edit: I have a new server and it looks like its not very stabile, ill upload the pics elsewhere in a while.

that would be a good scooter to practice on, then go on a razor so it feels really light. like those 90 lbs bikes, lol. when i do tailwhips on my bike, then get on my scooter i can whip super easy.

i got a hevier one :) ahha. does that middle one go the whole lenght of the deck? if it does i bet you could loose that one and only have it on one end to hold it together and save some weight. oh and it looks good for icepickers and 50-50s.

I tried riding my brothers scooter after riding that and I just cant, haha, feels so weird, having like no base.
Cory, I was considering that, but I wasnt sure about it, I actually wanted to have the middle pipe made of aluminim and the whole thing screwed together, instead of welding.

well at least that scooter would last forever.. who knows, you may get used to it and then you will have a hella solid scooter that wont break on you for ages.. i reckon it looks sick

Me and my friend had the same idea to make such a scooter like that, but not so many pipes... our pipes would have less walls in the middle.

you could take that scooter to a weight scale haha.

How the hell would you have less walls in the middle? you would either need to have a strange custom steel profile made for you and no one is going to make it unless you order mass amounts. You could also try to weld flat bars between the two pipes but it might be hard to weld it precisely enough.
Right now Im thinking of making the same exact design of aluminium and another deck off a single pipe that's hard to get.
Rode it a bit today, came close to dubwhips off a 3 set and whipped up a 2 set. It will only be hard to do scooterflips and multiple whips off small stuff as the motion of them is bmxed up, but hopefuly more momentum will enable me to pull more air off ramps and do those tricks without such problems. Other stuff like barspins, manuals, grabs and 360s feel good.

let's hope that you won't hit your head when scooterfliping that fat-momma scoot.

Thats really cool that yo made one. I love playing around with heavy scooters. I took the moter and betterys and stuff out of my Razor E100 and got whips on it flat. The next day I could triple of curbs with my old A. I think heavy scooters are cool to have. Makes easy things hard.
