John Yang, a Diamond Bar local messed himslef up yesterday. i heard he did a feeble stall somehow messed up and tried to brace his fall and the scooter somehow hit him in the head. he didnt have a helmet on. he said he never needs one, and he never lands on his head. Well now he did and he has a couple STAPLES in his head. My dad has been telling him for months and he didnt care. His mom wont let him ride anymore so thats it for him. He was getting really good too. He was progressing really fast. So yeah between all the expierience riders have had hitting there heads i think it is necessary for everyone to wear them now. even on the little stuff. He was doing a feeble stall. easiest trick and he had them like nothing. he just slipped or something and BAM in the hospital.

Yeah thank god for helmets. I've had mine all the times I've gotten smacked in the head. Especially dumb shit like you said. A stupid little briflip ended up hitting me in the dome one time. Had the ole helmet on though.

yep you guys know my story haha. but i was told i talk about it in every thread with people getting there head hti so im trying to chill with that. but yeah man its scary that shit could happen like that on easy tricks that you have dialed. haha even john radtke says he almost never hurts himself on big tricks were he could get hurt. and yet he broke his shin jumping up a curb lol.

he tried to 180 to fakie out of a quarter and stomped his brake like a dummy, and the scooter flew into his head.

i got to hold his head together to stop the bloodin haha

hes good. and i put that in bold

umm i did a briflip and hit myself in the head shitloads of blood came out my hands were covered in blood and i had to get 3 staples in my head to keep it together
getting the staples hurt the most hitting my head was like nothing.
i still dont wear helmets lol
i jus stop doin gay briflips haha that teached me
but it was so gross the day after i got the staples coz i cudnt hav a shower and i had dry blood in my hair

deffinately more confidence, i wear my helmet all the time. I even lend it out to people when they try bigger tricks than they normally would, i hate people getting badly hurt, i cannot watch it.

I hate you damn Diamond Bar kids. You have all these gnarly injuries but take NO pictures or video. After making sure they were okay my next thought would be pictures!! Basically every phone has a camera on it now so no excuses, lol.
