HELP!!! FSA headset wont go on FRID forks!

When i try to put my fsa headset ring thing (not the compression ring, the ring that seals the bearings at the bottom) it doesnt fit over the bottom of the frid forks where it strecthes out, it gets stuck and we cant get it on, what do i do??

meh ive done it now, but thanks anyway , one more thing, i need to change something in the headset, but the little compression ring on the top of the fsa is jammed in and i cant get it out, any ideas?
