Help :o

Heyy. Im new to this thread and new to having I guess you could say a good scooter. So basically I've never really have rode anything except for just a normal razor with 14in bars. currently I'm riding my friends 16x21 one piece bars but im looking into getting my own settup. I have saved up for awhile and I don't really understand the hole headsets and compression and what not :( I'm willing to go up to 18in bars
So if your guys could point me in the right direction for parts and what not that'd be great!

Note: sorry for the noobiness, I didn't know where to post!

Get a razor ultrapro high with 18wide 26h bars (cut down to 21etc)
or a madd gear standard pro 18w 23 h both are very good scooters.

madd decks feel horrible imo.

get an ultra pro, some district forks, threadless headset, dual 100mm eagles, and a baby scs and you're set. it would cost less than a nitro and ninja, and be half the weight so its great for starting.

Thiiiiiiis. District forks are soooooooo good. Plus they come with the compression if you dont wanna pay the extra 65 bucks for baby scs WHICH YOU SHOULD

District compression is ass though.

Depending on what you want to spend, I have to say get... urgh.
Lucky HIC bars
Striker fork (cheap/chromo)
RUP deck
District headset
and new wheels once the rup wheels break.

more people need to make HIC T bars

fairly good threadless set up.

Since he's new, he cud just hot glue the stocks. And he should be set for quite a bit. But like rob just said, that setup would be pretty good. I love my hic luckys

this and if you dont have money for a striker get a dsa.

I came up with a setup which comes up to around 337ish dollars.
Lucky Pro Bars-HIC
PROTO BABY SCS
FSA PIG Headset Black
District FK-1 Fork
Blunt 100mm Wheel Skull Blue / Black
ODI GRIPS
Rup Complete. Found it cheap :)
Also are there any cheap brakes that aren't loud cause I know razor stalk brakes get loud after awhile?unless there is a way to mod razor stock brakes?
