I'm a noob at all this video camera stuff and editing i need a good cam from like $180 to $250 and what the hell is mini dv, flash memory and all this other bull sh*t please i need help.

if you want a pretty cheap camera and it is not a mini dv but yeah its probaly your best bet you can also put a fisheye on it http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=186035&cc_fm=Personalized+HP+Module

but yeah i havent seen any good mini dv camcorders for 180-250$

mine DV is the kind of tape the cam uses.
