HELP! TLC shim stuck in bars

hi, my phoenix tlc fork shim is stuck in my suicide ihic bars, i need to get it out asap as i am swopping soon, i have tried gripping
with pliers and hammer and screw driver, even threading in the bolt the other way with a penny stopping it, so can anyone help????

one thing possible is drilling a small hole through the bottom part where the clamp isnt and then put some circular metal through and drag it out. might devalue the item though
do you mean like on the lip? I have another hic shim so im not as fussed if the TLC gets destroyed!

i mean like really low down, under the clamp so it dosent weaken the bar, and then like drag the it out with a cirular object that is small enough, dont drill a huge hole

I'd imagine the penny is just crushing under the pressure/force of the steel bolt trying to spread open a steel clamp. The penny might work on aluminum clamps but the ihic bars you have use a built in clamp made of 4130 steel.

Try a steel washer or anything else steel that will fit.

Thos bars are a PIA
