I've lived in an area where there was no parks around, so i got reall good at street. But recently they made this one park open to the public, so i took my scooter it there, but for some reason i just can't ride park. It's to uncomfortable doing flyout
i can pretty much bri flat, but can hardly do shit in that skatepark

uhmm im not sure.

Yea i know, but i wanna learn flyout before doing anything else.
It seems like i should learn thought

Anything vert is hard for me.
If its a ramp that's not to steep, i can shred it pretty good. (Like a bank, ya know)
but vert gets me. Spins/halfpipes that kinda crap

then dont do vert! get your own style. shredding banks and ledges and rails, stairs,
street is fucking sick.
vert guys may get huge airs and it looks impressive, but look at matt mckeen.

That's what i was thinking, but it just seems fun
Im not really trying to impress or nothing, but pregression is whats fun to me, getting better.
And i want vert to be apart of that.

ugh dont do fly out. try riding like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqQK5nWcxqk&feature=related.

i know not many can ride like stan and bonner, but you get the idea of bowl riding right?

I love how like the first line in the vid ends with a FLY OUT 720 whip. lol. But I know what you mean.

Transitions are quite different from street. You'll get used to them after riding them for a while. Just don't go to the skatepark expecting to throw down like a madman. Get used to airing high, clearing gaps there, airing fly boxes, and doing stuff on funboxes and quarter pipes, and soon you'll be able to apply what you know already to the park.

Always remember, fly out is for learning tricks, and breaking wheels. NOT for filming. Unless your doing something really ridiculous that no one's done before.

Don't even bother with flyout if you can do basically all your tricks flat.

Start out learning to flow. Learn how to air, boost, stall, grind, and do things that you can do while keeping speed and not landing flat. You want to do your tricks and still land in transition well. Some people have a lot of trouble riding park while others are naturally good at it.

this and try to find lines at your local park or any concrete park(most metal, wood parks dont have good flow to them) and try to maintain speed riding around it and work your way up by adding simple tricks

^^^ this, and it makes you look like you run the place if you can just ride a line for like 20 minutes all over the park.
