I learned them by throwing my whip really fast and then once it gets around to your feet pull the scooter up so it goes right on to your feet and then land... thats how i learned them and now i can do 1 foot whip catches.

Throw the whip bring one foot and catch it and put the other one on.

this it helps just throw as hardvas u can then catch with your rght foot if u whip to the left or with ur left if u whip to the right then put ur other one one. By doing so I can now catch whips like 1/4 of the way through the jump only on flat it's so fun

Yeah, you just have to make sure you pull the deck up to your feet, not stomp your feet down onto the deck. This helps even more when you start doing doubles and tripples

Watch the whip, i normally put my feet out to catch when the deck has done a 270 turn.

Honestly, all you have to do is....

1) Watch the whip

2) Whip as hard as you can flat

3) Practice a lot

and maybe learn double whips flat, that helps a lot

i love catching whips, and the secret is a fast, hard whip that stays close to you. you want to bring the deck to the feet, and do so quickly to make sure there is time for you to land i cant double whip flat, and im not really that close. so i dont really know if that helps or not, because i can only do them flyout. hope it helps

i learned 2 foot catches first. just wait for the deck to come around, make sure u whip fast, and pull the deck to ur feet. then i learned one foots. where u stick ur foot out to it when its like 270

when i did it i just tailwhipped and it came around and i didnt pull up or anything and it was just there and thats how i do them i just do my whip and it happens hahahaha

there are 2 different ways to catch whips: one footed or two footed. for one foot catches watch the deck and when it gets about 270 around, stick out your back foot, catch it, and pull it the rest of the way up. for two foot catches you need to practice good timing. after you kick the deck, pull the bars straight up while rotating your wrist, and bring the deck to your feet. i can do them both but i prefer 2 foot catches because they feel smoother to me.
