Hi I am new to custom scooters and I have a few questions. What size wheel will fit with a 110mm Phoenix Phorx? How do you know what size bars to get? What is the difference between a compression set and a clamp? What headset do i get? (sorry for so many questions)


My future set up

Phoenix Integrated deck 4.5
Proto Grippers 110mm if they fit the Phorx
Odi longneck grips
Phoenix Phorx
Blunt grip tape
District aluminum bars
Bearings- BONES SUPER SWISS 6
Pro Comp Fakey brake
Clamp?
Headset?

Is this a good set up? What else do i need?

What wheel will fit with 110 forks? Well... Any wheel 110 or smaller

You need to get a threadless headset and I recommend a sealed one.

Threadless. Like fsa. Cane creek. The list goes on. But you HAVE to get a intergrated head set with a intergrated deck

If you want phorx, your going to need SCS, ICS, or HIC compression, because the fork is threadless.
I suggest a threaded fork like an inward or something else because youre new to scootering, and you will most likely not break them.

So a FSA Impact Integrated Sealed Threadless Headset Black wil work because its integrated but a Cane Creek S-3 ultra light threadless Sealed Headset black wont work because it is not integrated? what is better sealed or unsealed?

If you order a phoenix integrated it comes with an FSA headset
but Just get a razor ultra pro and get better grips and wheels.

thats what i have with odi long necks and yaks but broke them in the first week when i did a bri-flip on a 8 stair

And you say if it does anything with kota walkaway my friend ordered his lucky 1 scooter his scooter is the mix color one for the lucky 1 picture and kota gave him a messed up headset and messed up the set up so his scooter is trashed now and he has to almost get a whole new setup now
