He was at a show and this dude called him Hep Greg. I'm not even joking. I might be wrong on some details though.

I got myself banned.
he was at a show dancing and this one kid said hey kid whats your name (to greg)

and he said greg and the kid said hey look at this kid its hep greg

and it stuck

yea the guy was like wats your name and he was like greg and the gay was like u look hep ima call u hep greg name stuck ever since
when i first met hep greg i thought he had like hepatictis that crazy ass diease thats y they called him hep greg

yeah, everyone pretty much summed it up.

I was at a Reel Big Fish show in November 2004, and i was waiting on line outside the venue with my friends and some guy comes up to me and says "Whoa, look at this hep kid right here! what's your name kid?" and i told him my name and he said "Greg? I'm gonna call you Hep Greg!" and i was all like "uhh.. ok, cool!" and the name just stuck with me. It was basically a nickname i gained from going to TONS of ska shows from like 2004 to now. everyone who goes to ska shows on Long Island knows who i am.

when i made an SR account, i just decided to carry the nickname over into scootering since i was so used to being called that already.

and there you have it; the story of my nickname.

i don't really skank anymore... i just like to dance. and to whoever questioned if i'm a dancer... yes, i quite enjoy dancing. {-)

I remember first seeing a picture of Greg in the "Pictures of Yourself" thread, and you had like a knife in your pocket haha, I was like wtf. But now I know your cool.

lol thanks, ya asss. ;)

skanking is a type of dance that's usually done to ska music. its where the "2-step" in hardcore came from.
