HIC and non HIC

Probably a stupid question but I am looking at getting a pair of crows and want to know... What is the difference between regular and HIC? Which one would I need or does it not matter because its an extra like 10$ for HIC.

HIC One makes threadless compression easy as pie but won't work well (if at all) on threaded forks. Is compatible with SCS but not ICS.

Normal one works for threaded forks, ICS, SCS (with shim and no slit) but isn't HIC compatible. Weighs slightly less.

HIC is a form of compression. Unless you have a threadless fork, you just need regular crows.

If u hav threaded forks = regular (non hic) crows
If u hav threadless forks = Hic crows
