Ok I got Oversized epic rewinds and oversized clamp so i put my shim on and it has a lip on the bottom so the bars when they go one the lip sticks out about half a centimeter. The bars were really hard to put on to but everything works fine and solid just the bars didnt go on completly just like a tiny 1/9 of the bars didnt go on it is fine though help

so the bars dont go over the lip of the shim? their not supposed to, just pull your clamp over it

i've seen a shim that like that before. basically you just have to get a shim that doesn't have the lip.

dude just slip the clamp over it, i have the same thing and it looks uber clean and works fine. the lip is made so its the same diamiter as the outside of the bars

Ok thanks But also it was really hard to put the bar over like i had to use a mallet it it in, Are you sure it goes over the shim?

You're shim is just bigger on the bottom so it doesn't get stuck in your bars, and if everything works fine why are you even making pointless threads?

Don't slide the clamp over the shim, it's not going to work right if you do that. Just keep it how it is, it's fine.
